"I Give You A Rose"

Paintings inspired by the forms of nature.

Flowers intrigue me most, particularly "the rose". I am fascinated by the flower's character; a combination of fragility and strength, transparancy and depth, colour and fragrance.

The flower becomes almost a landscape in the greatly enlarged form in which I depict it. All these features give me a mystical feeling that i try to convey in my paintings.
